Four States Follow Ohio’s Lead in Call for Fed. Balanced Budget Amendment
This month, all four states have taken significant steps to join Ohio’s lead in calling for a federal balanced budget amendment.
The movement is growing.
To date, 20 states have officially called for a constitutional convention in order to take the necessary steps to approve a federal balanced budget amendment.
On November 25th of last year, Gov. Kasich, House Speaker Batchelder and Senate President Faber all signed letters to leaders in Washington DC and governors from across the nation to encourage them to join the effort.
Ohio is happy to see other states coming forward.
